Today in Ireland 2000 artists have been awarded a grant to practice their artistic endeavors for the next three years. The Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Catherine Martin says "Ireland is leading the way internationally with this pioneering pilot scheme to support artists and creative arts workers,". Perhaps it's a sign of things to come for other countries to adopt a similar scheme, once you satisfy a particular set of criteria. Not everyone can qualify of course, just because you bronze your "work" it doesn't mean you are an artist.

My god I’m blind, I’ve looked at your artwork so many times and I’ve only just seen this. Lina Romay NOOOO she was fantastic in ‘Female Vampire’ that was the first 70’s European erotic/horror film I saw, I can’t believe its star is no longer with us. good bye Lina, she will be missed.
